About the Neon Quarter

Platted prior to 1915, the neighborhood was previously called Forest Orchard, a union of two neighborhoods–Forest Park and Orchard Addition. The area saw significant development between the 1920’s and 1930’s, and many of those buildings remain today. During the 1950s and 1960s, young professionals like lawyers and entrepreneurs lived here because it was conveniently located, close to their jobs downtown. Today, The Neon Quarter is once again experiencing a renaissance, and charging into the future.
